Headphones firm Wicked Audio has unveiled WCKD Radio, which it’s calling an interactive radio station for Facebook. The idea: artists upload their own music to the station, which can then be played and shared by Facebook users. Bands whose songs attract more than 200 Likes from listeners will get 35 pairs of free headphones to give out at gigs, while also seeing their songs played on Wicked’s separate website. “The new WCKD Radio is not only a platform for these musicians to share their art, but also a means for them to begin a simple and innovative way to promote themselves,” says the company’s VP of sales Paul Marshall.
