Social media firm UberSocial has announced a deal to create a branded BlackBerry theme for 50 Cent, called Uber50. The free download skins the user’s BlackBerry with Fiddy’s icons and artwork, while also providing access to a Twitter List including the rapper and his G-Unit mates, as well as news and videos. UberSocial has also announced plans for Uber50 Deluxe, a souped-up version that will cost $1.99 when it is released. That will include exclusive artwork and sound effects. We like the advisory warning for the latter: “Includes gunfire and other sounds that might not be suitable in all locations. Be smart and turn down your volume appropriately – you could be held responsible for people’s reactions to the sounds”. Indeed.
