Until recently, Juan Paz was a key member of the Music Ally team here in the UK. Now he’s back in the recorded music industry. No, he’s not buying Warner Music Group (that’s Zynga, remember?). Juan has been appointed as regional director of digital marketing at EMI Music Latin America, leading the label’s digital marketing efforts throughout the region. He’ll be reporting in to SVP for Capitol Latin and regional marketing for Latin America at EMI Music Sergio Lopes. While we’re really sorry to see him go, a.) it’s a fantastic, well-deserved opportunity for Juan, and b.) we’ll never have to hear Dio’s ‘Holy Diver’ on the office stereo again. But mainly a.) We’d like to thank Juan for the hard work he’s put in over the last four years at Music Ally, and wish him the best over at EMI.
