Alice Cooper and the surviving members of his original band are playing a gig with a difference in London next month. They’ll appear at Battersea Power Station on 11 May in what’s being billed as ‘the UK’s first holographic 4D rock gig’ to promote a new box set. Alcohol brand Jagermeister is sponsoring the event, which harks back to a 3D hologram artwork created by Salvador Dali back in 1973 of Alice Cooper, with 800 tickets available to fans through its Facebook page. “We couldn’t resist this,” says Cooper. “Working with Jagermeister to appear as holograms on the other side of the Atlantic is the ultimate experience, a cutting-edge conjuring trick that celebrates the future and our history. We can’t wait to see the results.”
