Color is the much-hyped startup founded by Lala founder Bill Nguyen, which launched its first photo-sharing mobile app earlier this year. We thought then that it might have uses at music festivals, and it seems the people running the US Sweetlife Festival agree…Via marketing firm iStrategyLabs, they’re encouraging attendees of this year’s event to use the Color app to share photos of their experience. “We took a look at the way Color was being used to engage people in one location,” iStrategyLabs’ McKee Floyd tells Mashable. “It was made for this kind of festival event. It creates a way for everyone to gather their individual experiences into one.” Festival attendees will be encouraged to take particular kinds of shots to win prizes in an effort to spur usage of the app.
