We reported earlier this year about music social location app Flowd being used for the A State of Trance 500 tour, encouraging people to post photos, check in and comment. Now the company has announced that more than 51,000 ‘discussions’ took place during the tour through the app – which means individual comment threads and content posts. More than 2,000 party photos were uploaded during the tour’s five-week run too. “A State of Trance 500 showcased how the music industry can use Flowd to access social media features that truly connect with consumers and create significant value for all parties,” says SVP Tommi Laitinen. Flowd recently signed up its biggest artist yet in the form of Britney Spears, for a pan-European promotion.
