There are plenty of unlicensed Lady Gaga apps for iPhone, but now there’s an official one published by Universal Music Group. Lady Gaga – Monster In You Official App is the result of a partnership with Appetizer Mobile, and focuses on photo sharing rather than pure promotional messages. Or, as the App Store listing describes it: “Lady Gaga’s Official Monster In You App empowers her fans to share with the world The Monster in them. Take a photo of yourself or upload a photo from your gallery and the app outputs a Little Monster version of your photo.” The resulting pics can be shared on Facebook and Twitter, as well as via MMs and email. It might not be the most ambitious artist app we’ve seen, but given the size of Gaga’s social media fanbase, we sense it will be popular. Source: AppShopper
