Hi-fi and audio products brand JBL has launched an iPhone app that aims to bring a social location spin to music. It’s called JBL Live, is free to download, and claims to be ‘a location-aware app that understands your music tastes based on what you like and listen to’. The app recommends artists and venues in the user’s area based on their own music, while pulling in and pushing out data to Twitter, Facebook and Foursquare. The app is also designed to be used at gigs to upload photos and videos. Source: AppShopper
