PPL CEO Fran Nevrkla has announced a succession plan that sees him stepping down from the phonographic licensing group on January 1 2012. Peter Leathem has been made managing director and will become CEO upon Nevrkla’s departure. PPL has issued financial results showing 10.7% growth in revenue year-on-year to £143.5 million. PPL also revealed that Lady Gaga’s Bad Romance has topped the People’s Pop Chart of 2010 based on radio airplay and public usage data.
