Twitter is expected to introduce an automated ad-buying system by the end of this year, according to Mashable. Following the model used by Google and Facebook, Twitter will open up its advertising to self-service users, meaning greater opportunities for smaller advertisers. At the moment Twitter handles sales enquiries manually and can only focus on the top 500 online advertisers
