Two German hackers have been found guilty after hacking into computers and email accounts owned by high-profile music managers, and stealing unpublished songs by the likes of Lady Gaga, Mariah Carey, Justin Timberlake, Leona Lewis and Kesha. One of them, an 18 year-old, also tried to blackmail Kesha after stealing ‘explicit private photos’ of the star, and received an 18-month sentence at a young offenders institute. His partner-in-crime, aged 23, got an 18-month suspended sentence. “The court considered the fact that both defendants are attested to be highly addicted to the Internet to be a mitigating factor,” a spokesman tells AFP.
