Scandinavian digital music firm Aspiro has signed a letter of intent with an Irish ISP to power its new streaming music service, due to launch in the Autumn. Aspiro was obliged to disclose the deal under Swedish financial regulations, but for now it isn’t saying which ISP it has struck the agreement with. We can rule one out straight away: Eircom, which has already launched a streaming music service powered by MSP. “We are still experiencing very strong growth and our user base is increasing every day. As we launch with a strong partner in Ireland this autumn, we’ll be available in five countries,” says Aspiro CEO Gunnar Sellig. “Simultaneously, we are also negotiating with several additional partners for launch in more markets.”
