British music industry body the BPI has announced that its annual conference for members will take place on 6 July in London, preceding its formal AGM. The event will see a keynote address on cloud music from Omnifone’s executive chairman Rob Lewis, followed by a panel session on digital tools and services with SoundCloud, Get Ctrl, Atlantic Records, Topspin and Mobile Roadie. Music Ally’s Paul Brindley will be chairing the morning sessions, which are free to BPI staff and members.
