There’s another new contender in the Facebook marketing space: ONErpm, which is looking to expand beyond Latin America to bands elsewhere in the world. The company is looking to compete with companies like RootMusic (with its BandPages), ReverbNation and Nimbit. The selling points for ONErpm: unlimited album uploads – which can be offered in return for email addresses – as well as the ability for fans to buy within Facebook itself, and a 70/30 revenue split for artists. “Think of it as having most, and soon all, of the promotional features a BandPage has, plus some seriously advanced ecommerce functionality,” the company’s Emmanuel Zunz tells Digital Music News.
