Streaming music service Rdio has signed a fairly high-profile mobile operator deal in Canada. It’s teaming up with Telus to promote its service to customers, including tying in carrier billing so people can pay for their subscription on their mobile bills. “Our customers have told us that being able to customize their mobile experience with the services they want is important to them,” says Telus’ Brent Johnson in a statement. The deal is similar to that already signed between Rdio and Verizon Wireless in the US. Source: Rdio
