16 people in the US have been arrested after a wave of raids by the FBI, targeted at suspected members of the Anonymous hacking collective. The action wasn’t music-related: 14 of the people arrested have been charged with hacking PayPal after the payment service stopped processing donations to WikiLeaks. Meanwhile, one person was arrested in the UK and four in the Netherlands in co-ordinated raids. Media reports claim that the UK arrest may have been one of the core members of the Lulzsec collective, which went on a month-long spree of hack attacks earlier this year, and then reappeared on Monday to target News International.
