Will e-books be subject to similar levels of piracy as digital music? A new poll hints that the problem may be increasing. GfK surveyed 1,000 people, and found that 27% of e-books were downloaded from pirate or unlicensed sites in the second quarter of this year. Of those that were legally downloaded, 52% came from library collections, while 41% came from commercial bookseller sites.
