Ubuntu One has announced that it now has more than one million users of its cloud services – the milestone was passed in May but has only just been announced. To celebrate, the basic tier of the storage service has been renamed Ubuntu One Free, with users getting 5GB of space for their files for free. However, what’s more relevant for Music Ally is the change to the current Mobile plan. It’s been renamed Music Streaming, costs $3.99 a month, and gives users 20GB of storage, and the ability to stream music from it to their iPhone or Android smartphone via the Ubuntu One app. Users pay another $2.99 for every additional 20GB of storage required.
