A developer called Zirk has launched a cluster of apps branded Streamfeed, which are entirely unofficial, but focus on individual artists and celebrities. They pull in news, tweets, YouTube videos and Flickr photos, serving them up as a stream with comments. The iPhone apps have gone live for Radiohead, Bjork, Coldplay, Muse and The Strokes, along with footballers Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi and TV shows Dexter and True Blood. All the data being used is publicly available, but Streamfeed’s decision to charge for the apps – $0.99 – could see it run into a takedown request or two. Source: AppShopper
