Much of the speculation around Apple’s upcoming autumn press event is focused on the iPhone 5 and iPad 3, but news site App Advice claims there’ll be some big iTunes news too. Specifically, it says that Apple will launch a “full-fledged re-downloading and possibly streaming service named iTunes Replay”. Before you get too excited, we’re talking films and TV shows here rather than music, where the issue of re-downloading is more sensitive. The report suggests that people who have bought films and shows from iTunes will get the option to re-download them, while also streaming to the Apple TV set-top box and possibly iOS devices too.
