Earlier this year, Billboard launched a new B2B analytics and social media management service called Billboard Pro, with a focus on emerging artists. The service cost $9.99 a month or $99 a year. Anyway, it seems it’s now going back to the garage for a refit. “We are not accepting new registrations at this time, pending a revamp and relaunch of the site later this year,” explains a note on the Billboard Pro site, as reported by Hypebot. Existing users can still get the benefits of the service. With competition from some nimble startups in the analytics and social media space, it will be interesting to see what changes Billboard makes when its own offering reappears.
