Remember the days when people compared Apple’s valuation with Microsoft’s? Those days are long gone. Yesterday, as the US financial markets closed, Apple was the most valuable company in the world, with a market cap of $337.2 billion overtaking oil company Exxon Mobil’s $330.8 billion. This, despite the fact that in the last year, Apple’s revenues have been more than $100 billion versus Exxon’s revenues of $393 billion. And Microsoft? It was worth more than Exxon too, ten years ago, but now it’s worth $130 billion less than Apple. Source: AppleInsider
