Vodafone UK has launched a new site called VIP Album, designed to help people share photos taken at various music festivals this summer. The idea: users combine their own shots with those taken by professional snappers to create their own photo timelines, before adding a soundtrack, tagging their friends and sharing on social networks. Festivals covered include Download, Hard Rock Calling, Wireless, T In The Park, Latitude, The Big Chill, Leeds and Reading, but not the biggest of all, Glastonbury. The service is a website only – no spin-off mobile apps for now.
