Music videos service Vevo has announced a deal with blog RCRD LBL, which will see free remix MP3s made available alongside specific videos on its site. Cults are first to get the treatment with a Menahan Street Band remix of their single ‘Go Outside’. Mashable points out that this is the first time Vevo has offered MP3 downloads on its site – a possible test for widening that functionality across the site in the future? The partnership will see RCRD LBL featuring some Vevo videos on its own site. The deal follows RCRD LBL’s recent launch of its official iPhone app, and marks a burst of activity for the blog.
