A month after launching, music service Onesheet has more than 10,000 artists and DJs signed up. Launched by ArtistData founder Brenden Mulligan in July (Bulletin, 8-Jul-11), the service helps artists create a single website that pulls in content and data from a host of other sites and services. “I’m blown away by how quickly word is spreading throughout the industry,” said Mulligan in an email to industry contacts. “I’ve never seen early growth like this before for an artist focused product.” Onesheet has attracted bigger artists like Paramore and Owl City as well as smaller acts. To celebrate the one-month anniversary, Onesheet is now out of private beta, meaning anyone can sign up. It’s free for now, but a premium tier will be introduced in the future – current users are able to test out its features on a preview basis.
