We’ve been writing about music discovery service Shuffler.fm ever since it rose from the ashes of social music service Twones. Now the company has relaunched its website with new features, including the ability to turn specific music blogs into streaming radio stations, while creating personal channels of the most buzzed-about tracks in the blogosphere. Shuffler.fm’s description of the site as a ‘web app’ hints at its mobile intentions: the new site plays nice with iPad’s Safari browser. However, the company has also submitted a native iPad app to Apple for approval, which will provide a more tablet-friendly interface to the service. iPad music discovery is an increasingly crowded market though: Aweditorium, Discovr Music, Hitlantis, Hunter… Meanwhile, Hype Machine and RCRD LBL have both recently released iPhone apps with a similar aim of spotlighting the blogosphere buzzes.
