Connected hi-fi firm Sonos has announced that Robbie Bach has joined its board. Bach was formerly the chief Xbox officer at Microsoft, before leaving the company last year. It seems Bach is a longtime user of Sonos’ products: “Part of what makes the product magical is it’s really easy to use,” he tells the Wall Street Journal. His role will be advising Sonos on marketing and retail strategies, using his Xbox experience. Meanwhile, the same article reveals that Sonos expects revenues of $250 million this year, around double its turnover in 2010. The company recently launched a lower-priced system, and has been striking a number of deals with streaming music services. Source: Wall Street Journal
