Another day, another wannabe Turntable.fm killer. And this one’s founder is actually emailing journalists with the subject heading ‘Turntable Killer’, which is at least putting your cards firmly on the table. The site is LetsListen, which blends cloud storage with Facebook-fuelled social listening. Here’s how founder Cole Flournoy pitched it to BetaBeat: “LetsListen is a social cloud music locker that lets users chat with friends and listen to music in real-time. It’s like iCloud + Turntable.fm. Users can store and play their whole music library online, and with a simple button, they can notify and allow all their Facebook/Twitter friends to join the room where everyone hears the same music at the same time. It’s extremely cool and addicting…” And extremely interesting for rightsholders and their legal teams, we’re sure. Link
