Music marketing firm ReverbNation has launched a new product called Promote It, which has been in beta testing since mid-April. The company describes it as “the world’s first advanced, turnkey, end-to-end Facebook advertising system, and it’s built specifically for the music industry”. What that means is tools to promote songs, gigs, releases and Facebook pages, with 18,000 campaigns having already been tested during the beta period. Pricing starts at $25, and includes ad creation, fan targeting, optimised landing pages and tracking of fan interaction and sharing. ReverbNation has also provided examples on its blogs of campaigns costing $50, $100, $300 and $1,150 to outline the different tiers. “Facebook is the ultimate social platform of our time and we wanted to build a tool that harnessed that social power to drive the outcomes every artist, label and venue wants — more song plays, sales, downloads, shares, likes, email subscribers, and ticket sales,” says COO Jed Carlson.
