There is under a fortnight left to get entries in for the IC tomorrow and University of Abertay Dundee Future Games Contest. The competition will award up to £25,000 in funding to small companies making innovative new games in four categories. They are: The use of games technology in a non-gaming context (supported by IPC Media); games ideas using digital creative content (National Geographic); social games using existing communities (Tate); and music games application (EMI). First-stage submissions involve completing an online form and submitting a two-minute pitch video through YouTube, and the deadline is midday on 15 September. Besides the cash, successful applicants will get to trial their technologies with consumers before launch, via IC tomorrow. Link
