Remember DJ Hero on consoles? Now there’s a (sort-of) equivalent for iPad called Skillz. Released today by Playpen Studios, the £3.99 game asks players to “Mix and Scratch your way to DJ superstardom using the dual turntables to cut, sample and cross fade your way through over 20 jaw-dropping mixes”. Artists whose tracks are featured include Kid Cudi, Diplo and Fedde Le Grand, with plans to have an in-game store to sell additional track packs in the future. It looks good fun, but it will be interesting to see if it’s too complicated for the tastes of mainstream iPad gamers. Source: AppShopper
