What could get the blogosphere even more excited about social music service Turntable.fm? Yep, you guessed it: an iPhone version. TechCrunch has bagged screenshots and details of the app, which it says will launch next week – and what’s more, that it was built by “one teenage iOS developer”. The app apparently streams music over 3G or Wi-Fi – although it’s more solid over the latter – and matches the look and feel of the website. We’re aware of at least one other developer working on a Turntable.fm-style app for iPhone, but it seems the real deal will be first onto the App Store. Will the likely surge in usage put a strain on the company’s fledgling business model, though? Source: TechCrunch
