While checking our Music category feed from Apple’s App Store this morning, we spotted a new app called Adele. And unlike the many unofficial ones, this is the real deal: published by Beggars Group Digital. It’s a free download, with content including news, music, videos, community features and details of live shows. Judging by the screenshots, it’s a really nicely-designed app too: far from a template-based affair. We say ‘screenshots’, as at the time of writing, the app appears to be unavailable in the UK App Store. But we called up XL Recordings to check, and the app is a.) kosher and b.) due out today. Having sold millions of albums this year, we’d say Adele has a good shot at rising up the App Store charts too. Source: AppShopper
