Lightspeed Research has published a new survey focused on social gaming, which finds that 58% of social networking users have played a game. Of those, 68% started to play in the last year, and 29% say they play every day. 67% play for up to an hour a day, while 24% play for 1-2 hours, and 10% for more than two hours. There’s also data on how these games are making money. 18% of social gamers have clicked on an advert to gain in-game rewards, while 14% have paid cash for in-game currenty or rewards. 23% reckon they’re more likely to buy products from a brand or company that has sponsored or advertised in social games.Read more: http://tinyurl.com/3y7wsgn
