You can’t move for new music discovery apps on iPad at the moment, with Los Angeles radio station KCRW the latest to throw its hat in the ring. KCRW Music Mine went live today, and aims to help people find out more about the new artists beingplayed on the station. It will feature up to 100 at a time, pulling in videos, photos, blog posts and other content. The app also offers a live stream of KCRW’s Eclectic24 service, as well as full shows by its DJs. Public Radio Exchange made the app, which like many of its rivals, uses The Echo Nest’s API. Source: AppShopper
