Research In Motion sold 12.1 million BlackBerry smartphones in its latest financial quarter, the company has announced. That’s a record, helping it to revenues of $4.62 billion – up 31% year-on-year. Given the hype around iPhone and Android in the US, it goes to show that BlackBerry remains a force to be reckoned with, even if its app store isn’t quite as admired as its rivals.
