Bon Jovi have a new iPhone app, but music isn’t the focus. Instead, Bon Jovi: World Tour is a collection of photographs taken during the band’s 2010-11 global gig-jaunt by snapper David Bergman. Frontman Jon Bon Jovi provides an audio commentary and intro message, with ‘behind-the-scenes facts and figures’ thrown in for good measure. There is a music feature, however: a customisable player including the ability to buy songs from Bon Jovi’s back catalogue. Will fans pay £4.99 for a digital photo-book, though? We’ll have to see how this does on the App Store. The developer is Bandwdth, which previously made the Dream of Life app for Patti Smith. Source: AppShopper
