Mark Mulligan, formerly of analyst firm Forrester, interviews Adam Kidron, CEO of forthcoming music service Boinc (formerly known as Beyond Oblivion). The discussion centres around how to pay for music, with Boinc filling the middle ground between completely free piracy-based models and completely paid-for subscription or a-la-carte models. “The word subsidy isn’t in my lexicon”, says Kidron, “I don’t think it’s a subsidy, it’s an appreciation of the total value of music.”
