VEVO CEO Rio Caraeff yesterday revealed that Vevo is the third largest source for video on the web. It receives 49 million unique video viewers a month, and has had 500 million views in the US and 1.4 billion around the world. Caraeff states that VEVO is seeing tens of millions of dollars in revenue, through sponsorships and advertising. Caraeff claims more than 50% of that revenue is going back to labels and artists, and also that advertising costs per impression are more than $20.Read more:
