Google has announced its latest set of quarterly financial results. Its revenues were $9.72 billion, up 33% year-on-year, while its GAAP net income was $2.73 billion, up from $2.17 billion a year ago. Google-owned sites – including YouTube – generated $6.74 billion of revenues during the quarter. Google says that 40 million people have now signed up to its Google+ social network, although it didn’t say how many of them have become active users. More than 190 million Android devices have now been activated globally, showing how the platform is catching up with Apple’s iOS (250 million devices and counting).Read more:http://tinyurl.com/3tv8763
