News of music apps with new features tapping into the new software is emerging, with SoundHound and Spin magazine both confirming their updates. SoundHound 4.1 is using iCloud integration to let its users access their identified songs across all their iOS devices. Meanwhile, US publisher Spin Media says its Spin Play music app has also gone iOS 5, appearing in Apple’s new Newsstand app for magazine and newspaper apps. Whenever a new edition of Spin Play is released, users will be alerted: the monthly mag-app includes streaming songs and videos along with the main magazine content.
