You don’t need us to tell you that SoundCloud has built significant credibility with musicians since its launch. Now that’s been cemented by the service’s inclusion in one of the key audio production software suites: Pro Tools. Yes, the latest version, Pro Tools 10, has integrated SoundCloud to make it easier for peopel to share their in-progress or finished work. “Audio producers from all fields can share their sounds privately with collaborators for feedback or share polished works to the world,” explains SoundCloud in a blog post about its partnership with Pro Tools maker Avid. “As someone who has worked extensively with Pro Tools, it’s also a personal achievement to see SoundCloud integrated so well with the latest version of the leading audio production software,” notes CEO Alexander Ljung.
