Dotted Music has some more details: the livestream costed £3.99, and was the result of a partnership between The Guardian, streaming firm LoveLive, payments provider CrowdSurge, and sponsor Sky Arts (yes, a sponsor for a paid livestream). Editorial coverage was also built into the event, with a post-gig interview with Florence herself, and another interview due in this weekend’s Guardian. The newspaper isn’t stopping there either: it’s already selling access to a livestream of PJ Harvey’s 31 October Royal Albert Hall gig for £2.99, also working with LoveLive.
