US social music startup Turntable.fm is recruiting an ‘Artist Relations Pro’ in Los Angeles, as it seeks to forge stronger links with artists, managers and labels. The role will involve working “with artists and their teams (managers, agents, labels) to develop and execute campaigns that engage fans and leverage the Turntable.fm platform”, while also identifying event marketing opportunities and working with brands, promoters and media companies.

The post will be based in Turntable.fm’s Los Angeles office – which we think is the first time the East Coast company has talked about having an office in LA. Artists like Diplo and Talib Kweli have used Turntable.fm, but the company is clearly keen to up the number of artists spinning its virtual wheels of steel.
