Courtney Holt used to be president of MySpace Music, but announced plans to leave in February this year. Now he’s fetched up in a new music-related role as chief operating officer at Maker Studios. The US company makes YouTube videos, and has more than 33 million subscribers and 500 million views according to Billboard. The company is one of those partnering with YouTube on its new channels initiative, and Maker Studios will have a music focus. It’s launching something called the Maker Music Network, aimed at “Hispanic viewers and moms”.
