North American streaming music service Rdio is already available in the US and Canada, but it has now announced its third market: Brazil. The service will launch there later this week, but with some changes. It will be known as Oi Rdio, and will be launched in partnership with Brazilian telco Oi. The company will be offering Rdio to its 17 million subscribers as well as non-subscribers with a free seven-day trial. As in North America, the service will have a catalogue of more than 12 million songs, including tracks from local labels and distributors – named in the announcement are Som Livre, DeckDisk and OiMusica. Meanwhile, Rdio says it will launch in Germany and Australia in early 2012.
