Korean artist Kim Gun Mo has an intriguing new iPhone app available: Autobiography OKESTRA. It costs £5.49 on the App Store, and here’s the description: “Contents : As well as a pathetic ballad remind rich and serious emotion, blues, Rock `n’ Roll, funky, soul, reggae, etc is sweetly flavored Kim Kun mo’s music, HD music video, image gallery etc”. We can’t get enough of those pathetic ballads… But the interesting part is the fact that the app-album’s songs are in the OKE file format, so that fans can record their own versions with them singing along instead of Gun Mo. The lyrics can be displayed to help the process, and there are videos and posters bundled in too.
