Analyst firm Canaccord Genuity has published its latest predictions for the tablet market, claiming that in total, manufacturers will ship 102.3 million slates in 2012, up from 60.3 million this year. The company thinks Apple will bag a 57% market share with 58.8 million iPads, a long way ahead of second-placed Samsung, which it expects to ship 10 million Galaxy Tab Android tablets for a market share of 10%. Canaccord thinks Amazon will be the third largest manufacturer with its Kindle Fire device(s), shifting five million in 2012 for a 5% market share.
