We logged on to the App Store this morning from our iPhone and found that Spotify’s app has been updated to version 0.4.21. Among the new features are the ability to “Toggle posting to Facebook from Settings”, as well as the Incognito mode allowing albums, playlists and songs to be listened to without letting the wider world know.
Also new: cover art and track metadata can now be shown on the lock screen for devices running iOS 5, and there is a feature introduction for first-time Spotify users. In other Spotify news, the service is now live in Belgium and Switzerland, following its debut in Austria earlier this week. The launch takes Spotify’s total countries to 12.
