Not every artist is going apes**t about Spotify payouts. Gorillaz have launched a campaign to promote thir new Singles Collection compilation on the streaming music service. It’ll run for five weeks, and includes a three-part radio show hosted by band characters Murdoc and 2D, live concerts, and contests to win a customised MacBook Air laptop with Gorillaz artwork. We’re quite interested in the Gorillaz Video Gallery section though: it hosts a selection of videos from the band’s career, and may hint at possible future ambitions to take on Vevo from the company. Just a thought.
